(Virtual) Education Team/Webinar Development - Protect Kids Online!

DEFEND's Education & Technology Workstream Leads (or team members) are responsible for identifying and prioritizing what needs to be done for webinar development, production and other outgoing educational materials.  Individual functional leads may be brought into the Committee as required to focus on these topics under the supervision of the team leaders. 

The Education and/or Technology Leads (or support team members) drive the engagement, promotion and building blocks for strategies and educational materials of the DEFEND Committee as well as oversee the development and production of technology and/or social media messaging. This includes managing communications with Committee Members. These leaders are responsible for ensuring the core principles of DEFEND remain at the centre of educational and/or social media messaging. 

TIME COMMITMENT: A few hours per week (remote work)

Key Responsibilities
 -Research, develop and understand education and technology priorities for DEFEND.
-Manage and develop strategic initiatives, educational materials, understand the technology landscape and ensure the organization remains a leading voice for protection of children & vulnerable people on social media.
-Work with internal and external stakeholders to capture and communicate powerful messages in line with education priorities.
-Ensure social media and website content and educational statements are consistently of exceptional quality.

Certification or Education Required
College or university graduates are preferred, not required
