Heart and Solar

Heart and Solar is a start-up charity that provides solar energy system to local charities to reduce their long-term operating costs and allow them to be more sustainable. Check us out at heartandsolar.ca!

Our organization was founded and is run by a board of directors who are all young professionals working in our community. As such, we have little-to-no operating costs, and almost all donations received are directed to our projects.

We are close to completing our first signature project in support of Horizon Housing Society with their new building in the Glamorgan neighborhood of Calgary! We have generated substantial funds towards our funding target, which will be used by our installation partner, SkyFire Energy, to install a large solar array on this property.

We are looking for keen and enthusiastic volunteers to help us take the organization to the next level!!
