We are Alberta's Top 70 Employers for 2018 and Canada's Top Employer for Young People for 2018. The Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert Alberta was first opened on August 5, 1970. The present hospital site was constructed in 1991 and opened its doors on January 29, 1992. The Sturgeon Community Hospital provides 24 hour Emergency, Coronary Care, CCU/ICU, Intensive Care, Day Surgery, Diabetes Education, Diagnostic Imaging, Medicine, Mental Health, Outpatient Clinics, Rehabilitation, Surgery, Women's Health and Laboratory Services. This hospital services the community of St. Albert's 65,589 population and the surrounding areas too.
