First Lutheran Church

The First Lutheran Team strengthens Calgary by leading financial empowerment, health empowerment and refugee support programs, among other initiatives.

Our flagship community partnership & programs include our free, city-wide low-income tax clinics, financial literacy programs and financial coaching opportunities, which are held in partnership with other community organizations at many different locations across the city and result in long-term financial empowerment for persons in need.

We also offer many vibrant health and community programs in our space. One program is FLC's Conversation Cafe, which supports people living with dementia and their caregivers. Other programs include Ladies Time-Out, Scouts and Girl Guides and other group programs for all ages.

Additionally, we partner with other churches for refugee sponsorship and resettlement.

Our programs drive the well-being of Calgarians in order to make faith matter and bring hope to all.
