Buds in Bloom | Bourgeons en Éclat, non-profit children organization, is looking for 1 to 4 volunteers with a professional background and passion for giving to children and families to complement the Board members. Responsibilities include 1- quarterly attendance at one-to two-hour in person Board meetings, 2- annual contribution to advance the mission by, on one hand, helping to sustain operations, and, on the other hand, helping to fill the room at annual fundraising events.

Having long standing experience of serving on non-profit or charitable Boards, the ability to contribute to both the sustainability of operations and filling the room at benefits are required. The candidate may have limited time to contribute.

The change you will bring with your volunteering is raised awareness about the cause, while facilitating relief, hope and empowerment to families living with a child at risk for or who has a disability.

Time Commitment: 30-minute to two-hour Board meetings are held in person and/ or by telephone or video-conferencing on a quarterly basis. Email and phone communications in between meetings are also used as needed.  The minimum time commitment is a three-year mandate, for a minimum of 12 hours per year or 1 hour per month. Board meetings are scheduled for the year, and are held at 6 P.M. on the first Wednesday of September, December and March. The Annual General Meeting is held annually within three months of the conclusion of the fiscal year. A long term part time mandate is required. Letter of reference and attestation of hours worked available upon request.
