Gallery Interpreter

3-4 hours / Weekly
3 month - 40 hour commitment minimum

Make Science Sizzle and help others discover the world and beyond as you guide guests through interactive learning opportunities within our dynamic exhibit galleries.  This is a great opportunity to showcase your experience and share your love of science and/or technology with others!  Themed exhibits include: health, environment, a children’s-themed Discoveryland, and our feature travelling exhibitions.

Weekday Shifts (Mon to Fri): • 10:15 am – 1:15 pm	

Weekend Shifts (Sat, Sun, & Holidays):	• 10:15 am – 1:15 pm   OR • 12:15 pm – 3:45 pm

July - September: Daily Shifts, (Mon - Sun): 10:15am - 1:15pm or 12:15pm - 3:45pm OR
Shifts in weekly Blocks: Half Day (combination of multiple morning and/or afternoon shifts, as noted above) 
Full Day 10:15am - 4:15pm.
Interpretive shifts can be scheduled on the same day each week throughout the summer, OR the equivalent number of hours (minimum 40) can be completed over a compressed 2 to 3 week period, with daily shifts 4-6 hours in length scheduled each week.

Coming June 1st! DIG UP THE PAST in our Dinosaurs: Down to the Bone travelling exhibit and share your love of palaeontology as a dedicated Dinosaurs Gallery Interpreter.  Previous experience with fossils and/or palaeontology is an asset.
Daily Shifts (Mon - Sun):    11:00 am – 2:30pm
