The vision of the South Vancouver Neighbourhood House (SVNH) Food Hub program is that every food insecure resident across South Vancouver can access emergency food supports, connections, and information within their neighbourhood closer to home. We have moved away from a charity-based model and focus on providing a dignified experience for community members when accessing their grocery boxes.

We have partnered with other organizations and individuals around South Vancouver in order to bring food closer to people. Together, the SVNH Food Hub and its spokes support around 250 households, which is around 700 unique individuals weekly.

Together, we hope to change the food asset map in South Vancouver and contribute to more equitable food access and initiatives.
