We do this by supporting our clients with project definition and then connecting them to the volunteer project management community.

Since 2010, we have partnered with our not-for-profit sector clients on 250+ different projects.

BC Hospice Mission

BC Hospice Palliative Care Association (BCHPCA) is a non-for-profit organization which has provided support to the development and delivery of grief, bereavement and compassionate care programs and services in BC communities for 35 years. BCHPCA’s Community Program Services provides quality and responsive hospice palliative care programs and services, including grief, bereavement and compassionate care, to people nearing end-of-life and their loved ones who are grieving. 
BCHPCA aims to spark action through conversations, relationships and partnerships which support dying and grieving well. BCHPCA is committed to ensuring people have the choice and deserve to live, love, die and say goodbye in their own way.

Project Summary

BCHPCA is looking for project manager to plan a 2-3 days “Grief and Bereavement” Symposium to be held on a virtual platform to allow for accessibility to a broad, geographically diverse audience.
The symposium will include provincial, national and international experts on the subject matter and organized into three streams geared audiences:
● Palliative care individuals and caregivers
● Health Care Practitioners (i.e., medical, non-medical, spiritual, volunteers)
● Advocacy & Government

The sessions will cover a range of topics, panel discussions, and roundtable sessions including representatives from medical and non-medical practitioners, spiritual, BIPOC, and LGBTQ2S+ communities, as well as government leads.
Certification or Education Required
•	project management certification preferred such as PMP
