Project Manager - Business Process and Information Technology Review

Project Summary
The client BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCC PAC) requires a volunteer to review and evaluate existing operational processes and supporting information technology. The operations department consists of three persons working at various locations in BC. After the review, the volunteer will make recommendations for improvements within the context of the client’s resources. It is also possible that the independent review will show that the existing process is optimal for the client’s operational needs and no improvements are required at this stage.

Required Qualifications
•	Business Process Analysis Experience
•	Project Management Experience
•	Familiarity with current information and communication technologies
•	Excellent communication skills
•	Experience in the not for profit sector is an asset

Estimated Time Commitment
40 hours

Start Date: March 7, 2024				End Date: May 31, 2024

Scope of Work
The BCC PAC organization has personnel all over the province of British Columbia, so the work needs to be done exclusively on line. The volunteer will schedule on line meetings in collaboration with the Executive Director. Other communications can be done by email or phone as needed for the project needs. It will be up to the volunteer to determine what information is needed and who should be involved for a proper evaluation and final recommendation.

1.	An analysis of of the existing operations processes and information technology
2.	 Recommendations for changes that can be used as input to a followup project to implement them.

The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables, reporting to the Executive Director, Tracy Humphreys.

NOTE We may consider a team approach of a senior/junior project manager. We encourage junior project managers who are interested in acquiring experience to apply. Any such arrangement will be contingent on agreement by the client and the applicants.
