Looking for 3D Printers to Assist Protecting First Nations in the Winter

192 Spadina Ave, Toronto, ON, M5T 2C2 [map]
2-10 hours / weekly
Ongoing, as long as you are comfortable.
Canada and the Indigenous communities of Turtle Island are looking towards a second wave of the novel coronavirus that has to date killed nearly 10,000 people in this region alone. Local skills, tools, techniques, and cultural and historical knowledge and practices of Indigenous peoples are a buffer during disasters and have demonstrated success in the face of adversity. We are looking to co-create and deploy solutions for the long-term and believe in the power local wisdom. We want to connect and empower local makers to supplies, tools, and information.

We are looking to enable these communities to safely make it through a particularly daunting and challenging winter. Part of this will include the production and delivery of hundreds of face shields to remote communities to help provide them with reusable PPE to protect themselves during the pandemic.
Additional Details & Skills Required
We will help at least partially cover the costs of raw materials
