Self Help Group Facilitator - Saskatoon
We are seeking a Volunteer Facilitator for our Younger Persons Peer Support Group based in Saskatoon. During meetings, members share information, best practices and support one another on issues affecting people living with MS in the under 40 age demographic. Meetings are held on the 3ʳᵈ Wednesday of each month at 7 pm CT and are currently running virtually but there is potential for in person meetings to resume once safe to do so and location is sourced. As Volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitator, you will use a self-help model to foster a safe, caring environment so that group members will feel comfortable dealing with their issues and concerns regarding the ways in which MS affects their lives. ------------------------ For more information and to apply, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you are interested in this position and what skills you possess that make you a good candidate.

The MS Society will provide online training for this position, in addition to on-going support.
