Caregiver Peer Support Volunteer

1 year
The MS Society of Canada is urgently seeking volunteers who are caregivers for their spouses for our 1:1 Peer Support Program!

The Peer Support Program is a telephone and internet-based program for caregivers of people with MS. Individuals providing care to someone with MS may have a specific question or may just want to connect with someone who understands. Sometimes the best person to talk to is someone who has been there. Volunteers from across Canada are provided with extensive training to ensure they have the skills to best help those looking for support.

Volunteers for this program are individuals who are/have been caregivers for their partner/spouse with multiple sclerosis (or an allied disease). Volunteers will be matched with someone looking for support (a ‘peer’) and the resulting one-to-one connection is called a ‘match.’
