IT Project Manager

IT PROJECT MANAGER
LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders. 

The IT Project Manager will be the focus point of any new requests coming from all IT business areas and Technology support. The project manager will have to  understand new business requirements and projects, act as a technical advisor, identify IT requirements, and provide the best approach and solution to enable project implementation.
About You:
Strong leadership skills
Demonstrated experience in Project Management
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with using Google Docs and GSuite applications.
Responsibilities:

Identify and implement a project management software that will help manage ongoing projects effectively
Determine internal and external resources that would be required to complete projects
Ensure the organisation is to date with current trends pertaining to strategies, tools and terminology 
Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team.
Create measures to ensure work is being managed effectively.
Develop tools and techniques for distributing tasks to team members and for the evaluation of the performance of all team members.
Set realistic and practical goals for projects 
Dedication: The role will require 5-10 hours per week and the successful candidate may choose to work remotely, however, the different tasks involved may sometimes require irregular volunteer hours, particularly in times of need.
