Give for Good is looking for a volunteer to support them with developing, maintaining and deploying their online platform. This opportunity presents the chance to be involved with a real-world project to put your programming chops to the test! 

Programmers for Give for Good will be working on the online website platform first and foremost, and that is their main priority.

Non-profit organizations / registered societies like Give for Good have distinct purposes and operate independently from the government. They support numerous and diverse causes, from the environment to human rights.

Programmers create the core of most modern businesses. As a programmer for Give for Good, you will be responsible for:

Writing, Evaluating and testing requirements for a web application.

Writing, Evaluating and testing code both before and after deployment.

Learning on the job whatever skills or technologies are needed to get the job done.

Communicating with the board of directors about future for the platform and evaluating them using feasibility studies and prototyping.

Coordinates their work with other contributors and provides updates in review meetings

Meets deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for tasks.

Maintains quality results by using templates and code standards agreed upon.

Consistently looks for new and innovative ways to add value to the platform.


This position requires creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write strategic proposals. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Outstanding grammar and research skills are essential for grant writers. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio and relevant work experience.


WordPress setup and management with in-depth knowledge of its operations

PHP + ( HTML + CSS ) – must have built at least one website or platform.

Experience in working with a Framework, Laravel heavily preferred.

Knowledge of how the full application stack fits together ( Front + Back end)
