Annual Flu Clinic Volunteers - Squamish

Quest University or Brennan Park Recreation Centre (Nov 14th), Squamish, BC, V8B 0A2 [map]
2-4 hours / weekly
-
Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for volunteers to assist us with the Annual Flu Clinics this year. There will be 6 clinics at Quest University and 1 at Brennan Park. These sites have been chosen to meet the COVID requirements for adequate spacing and airflow.

As Quest University is a new venue, we require volunteers to greet people, show them where the parking is, direct them to the clinic site, assist with directing people at the clinic, and monitoring them after the vaccine outside the clinic.

The clinics are 4 hours and volunteers can do a 2 or 4 hour shift. All vaccine appointments are pre booked. Volunteers will be considered support staff, and will be provided with a medical grade face mask and a name tag.

Sue King, Public Health Nurse will be at all the clinics and can be reached before or on the clinic days with any questions/concerns at 604-848-5932.

Diana Gunstone, United Way's "Squamish Community Builder" will be assisting with volunteer mobilization this year (236.427.4103).
