Program Manager

* Overview
In Travel Unity's Global Scholars program, participants ages 14-18 join virtual sessions focused on cultural exchange, leadership skills, and exposure to both travel as an experience and as a possible career path.

Global Scholar Program (GSP) Managers are responsible for overseeing program planning, facilitation, and reporting of the 4 week module(s) relating to exposure, development and leadership in the travel industry for youth. The GSP Program Manager will ensure that the facilitated meeting is maintained as a fun, safe and supported space for young people. 

* Responsibilities 
- Support the mentorship and training of youth programming staff and interns
- Facilitate staff meetings and provide performance reviews for program staff
- Supervise the youth programs ensuring quality teaching, responsive student support systems, and a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment.
- Oversee the recruitment, registration, record keeping, and retention of students in coordination with the Outreach and Recruitment Specialist
- Manage the planning and implementation of the GSP
- Collect data to support evaluation, tracking and fundraising efforts 
- Session material preparation
- Assist with coordination of guest speakers
- Other duties as assigned that support the success of the GSP
