Program Coordinator - Global Scholars

In Travel Unity's Global Scholars program, participants ages 14-18 join virtual sessions focused on cultural exchange, leadership skills, and exposure to both travel as an experience and as a possible career path.

The Global Scholar Program (GSP) Coordinator is responsible for finding, attracting and onboarding new program participants to fill open cohort seats to meet program needs and goals. They are active in reviewing applications and going through the interviewing and onboarding process. 

* Responsibilities 
- Create and implement a recruiting plan
- Screen potential program participants
- Conduct interviews by phone or video call (Zoom or Google Meets)
- Maintain interview and participant records
- Complete onboarding paperwork and information packets
- Handle the onboarding of each new cohort of participants
- Serves as the point of contact for new and potential participants
- Conduct outreach to various schools and nonprofit organizations to recruit participants
- Assist in the design and implementation of retention strategies to increase participation and retain youth participants
- Other duties as assigned that support the success of the GSP
