Travel Unity helps expose individuals of a variety of backgrounds and abilities to travel as a means of personal and professional development. A major component of our work is with young people from across the world (with most participants in the U.S. and Canada), introducing them to how travel can be a part of their lives, no matter who they are. Departmental Structure The Alliance Relations Coordinator supports the Alliance Relations Manager. Role Overview The Alliance Relations Coordinator (ARC) will help with our Alliance program and Job Marketplace. The ARC will help build and ensure effective communication with our current and potential corporate as well as college and university partners. This position is vital in developing strong relationships with organizations, colleges and universities. This position also entails helping set up events, producing newsletters and ensuring smooth flow of information. The ARC will also oversee interns and ensure that proper reporting is maintained. Responsibilities Assisting in the development of our corporate/community and college partnerships. Handel a portfolio of Alliance members using tools such as google suit Oversee new membership onboarding Collaborate with Department Liaisons and Partners. Oversee day to day Onboarding activities,Operations & Queries. May include grant research, coordination and application as requested. Skills - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Sales experience would be considered an asset; experience in Public Relations and outreach would also be preferred - Marketing, Human Resources, Public relations - Proven membership development/fundraising track record in the non-profit field including: - Increasing membership recruitment and engagement - Engagement of young professionals (21 - 40) - Proven ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, strong project management skills, and an attention to detail - Effective use of Google Workspace Hour Requirements This role requires an average of 5-10 hours of commitment a week. Salary This role is currently unpaid.
