People in your neighbourhood need your help.
We are hosting our Annual General Meeting on Zoom and we need your help! Moderators are needed to oversee polls and to ensure our meeting runs smoothly. Some key duties will include: -Monitoring when someone raises their hand -Scrutinizing voting polls -Admitting people to the meeting Essentially, we need people to help us host a Zoom meeting. We need volunteers from 8am-2:30pm on September 26th and October 3rd. You can either volunteer for the entire duration of the events or for shorter time periods throughout the day.
You will get about an hour of training. All relevant information will be provided prior to the meeting so that you are prepared for your duties. There will be two separate days that we need moderators. September 26th and October 3rd from 8am to 2:30pm.
Zoom knowledge is an asset.
Volunteers will get first-hand experience in facilitating a Zoom meeting. Volunteers will also receive an inside look into what it takes to run a non-profit organization/registered charity. At the Annual General Meeting appropriate business for non profits will be conducted such as: approving financial statements and other necessary documents to comply with Canadian standards, electing board members, debating resolutions and bylaw amendments and more.
