Are you passionate about making a difference in Uganda's communities? Do you have a talent for securing funding to support impactful projects? Murphy Charitable Foundation Uganda is looking for an experienced Grant Writer to join our dedicated team

Your responsibilities will include:

1- Researching and identifying potential grant opportunities from various sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
2- Collaborating with our team to gather information and data on our projects, goals, and outcomes.
3- Writing compelling grant proposals, ensuring they align with the guidelines and requirements of each funding opportunity.
4- Tailoring grant applications to effectively communicate the impact and value of our organization's work.
5- Maintaining a comprehensive database of grants, deadlines, and progress.
6- Monitoring and tracking the progress of submitted proposals and coordinating with relevant team members.
7- Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members to gather additional information as needed.

Qualifications:

  1-  Proven experience in grant writing and a successful track record in securing grants.
  2- Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding prospects.
  3-  Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  4- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  5-  Passion for our mission and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
