Purpose: To enrich the resident’s lives by providing companionship and enabling them to participate in desired activities and/or outings. Job Description/Responsibilities: Volunteer Porters will be responsible for safely assisting with transporting resident in wheel chair to and from pre-determined locations. Recreation Assistants will assist staff in the delivery of activities and programs as required. 1:1 Companions will visit only specified residents onsite according to needs and as scheduled by SCF staff. May include accompanying resident to off-site locations and/ or providing companionship at events and/or programs as requested by SCF Staff.
Dress Code: Closed toes shoes, modest apparel, No scents please. Required Qualifications: Ability to take direction from SCF staff.
