The Diversity Awareness and Skill Building Youth program is aimed at youth aged 16 – 30 to encourage learning and foster service initiatives that increase diversity and inclusion within their school, workplace, or community.

OSP provides community-minded youth sessions on:
•	Allyship & Social Action
•	Conflict Resolution
•	Explicit and Implicit Bias
•	Identity, Power & Privilege
•	Stereotypes and Discrimination

•	Bullying and Harassment
•	Indigenous History
•	Disability Awareness
•	Intercultural Communications – A newcomer’s experience
•	Women’s Initiative
•	LGBTQ2S+

This Program is designed to set the stage for youth to pursue a self-directed volunteer diversity initiative.

Our goal is to provide mentorship, training, and support opportunities that encourage youth to set goals. As a result, youth will have developed important life-skills. Youth will have engaged in volunteer opportunities to strengthen their knowledge of diverse cultures and collective identities, and have acquired the knowledge on what it takes to be a strong ally of community support.

The next session Starts July 14, 2020
