Feeding Encouragement, Assistance and Safety Team
 The Good Samaritan Society is looking for Volunteers to support our meal time assistance program called Loving Spoonful.  Trained volunteers will have the unique opportunity to impact patient welling through feeding assistance and gift of time and companionship at table side. This would be a perfect role for a retired Dietitian/OT/PT.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING IS COMPLETED IN TWO PHASES FOR Volunteers

Step 1- Educational training on Feeding and Swallowing, nutrition and hydration and infection control provided by GSS.
 Step 2- Supervisor Volunteers-in training feed patients. Once step 2 training is complete volunteers will independently assist residents at meal time.
