Program Purpose: The Kiddo Driver supports individuals with autism, ensuring transportation, so the child can participate in their (PUF) Pre-school program Purpose of Our Volunteer Team: •Volunteers bring diversity which enriches our organization and programs •Volunteers bring a range of qualities, skills and expertise that you may not get from the staff in a team e.g. languages, cultural understanding, specialized skills, personal experiences Qualifications/Competencies Required: • Valid Driver's license and insurance • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and respect for diversity • Able to follow clear directions • Superior driving record • Clear Criminal Record Check (renewed every 3 years) • Clear Intervention Record Check (renewed every 3 years). • Have completed all required COVID-19 PPE training and have a thorough understanding of COVID restrictions • Time Commitment: Weekdays Monday-Friday(flexible number of days) 7:30-8:15 am and 12:00-12:45 pm (once or twice) • Location: Edmonton area, child specific (majority in south Edmonton-also west area and north area) • Responsibilities Outlined: • Support the Centre’s PUF program (pre-K & Kindergarten) • Pick up (residence) and or drop off a child (2.5-6 years) from their home to the Centre for Autism Services Alberta, 4752 99th Street, Edmonton • Enjoy interacting with a pre-school child with ASD • Greet and assist a family with a child for transportation via your vehicle • Meet staff at the Centre upon arrival

Valid Driver's License Valid auto insurance
