Help is needed: Mask Sewing
People in your neighbourhood need your help.
Half of all Canadians will either need blood or know someone who needs it. The need is constant. Volunteers play a critical role in the success of donation experience, they are monitoring post-donation reaction, restock and disinfect hospitality area, share and maintain knowledge on Canadian Blood Services. Canadian Blood Services has a process in place during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep our blood donation centres operational with several new safety precautions in place. Our blood drives in St. Albert are usually scheduled for Tue, Wed and Fri between 14:30 and 19:30. We are looking to train volunteers who can make a commitment for an extended period of time (at least 6+ months), 1-3 times a month. To apply, volunteers need to submit their application via: https://www.blood.ca/en/ways-donate/volunteering/become-volunteer and complete reference check and Orientation.
