Director of Saskatoon

Saskatoon, SK [map]
2-4 hours / weekly
Annual
As an Area Director, you will be working closely with our Team Leaders and Outreach & Development Coordinators to secure volunteer applications, develop event ideas, and gather information on Saskatoon's organizations, opportunities, resources, and garbage disposal information. You will begin first with Team Lead’s orientation to become familiar with our policies & procedures, as well as our Saskatoon team members to assist in the area’s development as needed. Saskatoon volunteers are actively growing and you will aid in ensuring they are appropriately recruited and directed to the resources they need before following up with them. Please make sure you are utilizing our onboarded volunteers and checking for applicants that have been approved for team events without signing-up for an event to get our volunteers involved. Your most important contact while establishing your area's structure will be our Outreach & Development Coordinator for Saskatchewan and major cities. This information will be passed through you for you to directly manage our Team Leaders. Between creating, scheduling events, and managing Team Leader & volunteers, you are to keep our volunteers allocated effectively. We encourage open communication with your team and city officials to get events started and organized properly.
Certification or Education Required
