The Alberta College of Occupational Therapists continuing competence program outlines annual requirements for occupational therapists continuous learning and reflective practice, which are required to maintain ongoing competence. The program includes general requirements and may also include audits, program measurement and practice visits. The Committee includes occupational therapists and one volunteer public member.

Orientation to the Committee and its past work is provided as needed.
Certification or Education Required
Registration in a professional College is desirable but not mandatory. Experience as a patient or family member of a patient in the health care system is desirable.
