Cold Lake and District FCSS is proud to partner with Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). Volunteering as a CVITP income tax processor is a great way to become familiar with T1 income tax returns for personal and professional purposes while helping our community’s most vulnerable. Volunteers process simple, low income tax returns for eligible individuals and families. Canada Revenue Agency provides the software, webinar training and a dedicated telephone help line for volunteers. To register as a Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (income tax processor) or for more information, please visit https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/campaigns/free-tax-help.html,
or call FCSS at 780-594-4495.

CVITP volunteers must also register with FCSS as a volunteer. Please note, the Canada Revenue Agency’s volunteer screening may take up to 30 days. Volunteers will also be applying for a CRA E-File number.
