Help is needed: Mask Sewing
People in your neighbourhood need your help.
The ESL Program Assistant will support our ESL programming by leading a small class of multicultural men and women, new to Canada, who are wishing to improve their communication skills. Volunteers will take direction from the Adult Education Facilitator to assist those who attend a class and will follow a set program outline given to them by the leader. The class will be at a specific competency level.
- Certificate in teaching or TESOL is helpful but not necessary. - Volunteer must speak English clearly, have knowledge of phonics and English grammar,be patient and understanding of other cultures and be able to teach using a set program in a small group setting.
Come and partner with us as we serve those who need our help the most across multiple locations and programs. Volunteer with an online format from the safety of your own home.
