ESL Program Assistant: Living in Canada, Eh? (English for Newcomers)

The ESL Program Assistant will support our ESL programming by leading a small class of multicultural men and women, new to Canada, who are wishing to improve their communication skills. Volunteers will take direction from the Adult Education Facilitator to assist those who attend a class and will follow a set program outline given to them by the leader. 

The class will be at a specific competency level.
Additional Details & Skills Required
- Certificate in teaching or TESOL is helpful but not necessary.
- Volunteer must speak English clearly, have knowledge of phonics and English grammar,be patient and understanding of other cultures and be able to teach using a set program in a small group setting.
