Open Arms Patient Advocacy Society is currently recruiting for a Marketing Director Co-Chair to join our team!    We are a not for profit Alberta organization who advocates with families and patients to help them obtain information where unanswered questions may remain with respect to their treatment within the health system. 

The Marketing Director Co-Chair is responsible for the assistance, relief and potential replacement of the Marketing Committee Chair.
As a Marketing Director Co-Chair you will help us share the great work we do and sit on our Board of Directors: you will work in cooperation with our volunteers to determine the marketing needs of our organization; help execute a marketing plan including obtaining effective free or low cost advertising; assist in managing our website content as well as online social media sites.

This position provides the flexibility for an individual to work from home during the hours that are convenient and will stay connected as a Board Member through monthly meetings. 

Some duties of a Marketing Director entail managing social media in order to target certain audiences, developing communication strategies to increase public profile and influence as well as developing communication materials. The Marketing Director should also manage the open arms image/logo/banner etc. Working alongside the membership director, the marketing director should develop outreach strategies to engage and increase membership.
