Help is needed: Mask Sewing
People in your neighbourhood need your help.
From urgent non-medical transportation (e.g. bank, pharmacy, etc.) to snow shoveling, our seniors need a hand! We are in need of volunteers to respond to urgent non-medical transportation requests and other requests that will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Helping with these requests makes the difference for seniors being able to safely and comfortably live in their beloved homes. Note: Volunteers under 18 years of age can apply to this service and will be offered age appropriate requests as determined by OSA and the volunteer’s parent or guardian.
We ask that volunteers: *practice physical distance, mask wearing and proper hygiene for all in-person activities *have a vehicle that can safely transport a senior client *demonstrate they have a minimum of $1,000,000 vehicle liability insurance *be flexible regarding timing and types of requests To submit your application, visit: https://www.oakridgeseniors.ca/v-app
Advantages: *make a practical and meaningful difference in the lives of seniors! *make your own schedule
