Grant Writer

Do you have a way with words, and can present facts and trends in an impactful way? The Nest Foundation is looking for a volunteer grant manager to prepare, submit and manage grant proposals. You will be:
	Sourcing funding opportunities
	Compiling, writing and editing grant applications
	Submitting grant requests
	Developing relationships with fund partners
	Maintaining/reporting on a calendar of submissions and other deadlines for TNF Board and Founder
	Developing templates to streamline the grant proposal process.
	Manage all follow-up grants reporting
	Track grant success rates and key metrics
	Build strategic relationships with foundation contacts and program officers.
Additional Details & Skills Required
	Familiarity with various government categories for funding
	Existing or past relationships with granting officers and sponsors

	Excellent research, writing and analytical skills

	Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, efficient and highly-organized

	Have an understanding of budgets for proposals, grant applications, and reporting.

	Professional writing experience

	The ability to build strategic relationships with foundation contacts and program officers.
Certification or Education Required
Prior success with Grants secured from your proposals.
