Walk Committee- Sponsorship Lead

Sponsorship Lead 

Role Description: The sponsorship lead is responsible for working alongside Kids Help Phone staff to secure and steward corporate sponsors leading up to and on the day of the walk.

Key Responsibilities include:
-	Assisting in prospecting & securing sponsorships for Walk {alongside KHP staff}
-	Work with the chair(s) & Kids Help Phone staff to develop an action plan/fundraising plan in regards to corporate engagement to meet targeted numbers.
-	Develop a sub-committee to implement the plan and assist with their duties.
-	Contacting past corporate participants to engage them  or new year along with the Participant Engagement Lead.
-	Recruit new corporate teams & participants along with the Participant Engagement Lead. 
-	With assistance from the KHP staff, provide presentations on the walk when necessary to corporate partners/teams.
-	Communicate with corporate team captains/champions both before & during the event
-	Work in conjunction with the Chair{s} & Communications lead to devise a marketing plan for distribute dialogue bubbles, wristbands & postcards to various corporate partners

Commitment:
When: 
January – May: Approximately 5 hours a month. We have monthly meetings from January to March and bi-weekly meetings from April- Beginnings of May.
Day of Event (May 3,2020) : Approximately 9 hours
Where: 
Meetings at Kids Help Phone’s office- 1550 5st SW. Call in optional.
