Career Connection

Ongoing
Volunteer Title:
Career Connection

About Us:
In 1997, Inn from the Cold was started by a small group of passionate Calgarians who were determined to change the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness. Since then, the Inn has become Calgary’s largest family emergency homeless shelter. We also provide affordable and supportive housing, and offer prevention and diversion support.

Purpose:
This opportunity aims to inspire and guide families in our care to a career path that will encourage and fulfill their goals. This is a great platform for adults to get insights into a career that may interest them, and also a way to inspire/educate students on future career paths. By garnering information and insight into jobs and careers, our volunteers will help our families find meaningful positions within the working community.
