The IMAGINE Citizens community continues to grow daily and is built of Albertans from all walks of life from all parts of the province. Role: • Develop and execute a multi-year sustainable fund development plan that increases revenues to support the strategic direction and mandate of Imagine • Determine proposal strategy by assessing, identifying and clarifying opportunities and prospective business needs • In partnership with program directors and relevant committees prepare and/or contribute to the preparations of innovative and persuasive funding proposals and grant applications to corporations, foundations, government and community partners • Assist with the development of a database of generic materials to be used in grant preparation • Work closely with Communications to promote the organization to donors and funding agencies to maximize public awareness and fundraising activities. • Perform other fundraising-related tasks as required You will bring: • Experience working in the non-profit, voluntary sector • Proven ability to provide leadership to develop and implement fundraising initiatives. • Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and proven track record achieving results in: • developing and maintaining relationships with foundations, funding agencies, service organizations, corporations, and individuals • Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills • Capacity to work well and build rapport with others Reimbursement This is a volunteer position. Post secondary education preferred Experience writing grants, fundraising, donor/sponsor development
