Grant Writer (part of a team) - Ensuring Financial Capacity Committee

•	Assist committee members in researching and applying for grants
•	Assist in writing grant reports, and ensuring all GDTA grant commitments are complete
•	Work  with GDTA committees and Directors, identify current and longer-term financial needs that are consistent with the GDTA's strategic plan. 
•	Identify potential sponsorship, grant and donor opportunities in keeping with the GDTA's values, mission, and vision that will provide financial support for the organization.   
•	Develop, obtain approval from the Board and implement a fund development strategic plan and yearly objectives in keeping with the GDTA's mission, vision and values.  
•	In pursuit of financial resources, assist the Outreach Committee to promote the Association and build its membership base. 
•	Ensure that donor, grantor, and sponsor requirements for recognition and reporting are met.

Certification or Education Required
Preferably this person has experience in non-profit or charitable work.
