Board Positions Available Forte is looking for fun, creative, enthusiastic people to join its board of directors. No experience necessary – just a love of the arts and a commitment to attend monthly meetings (Zoom meetings for the foreseeable future) and to participate in board initiatives. Directors-at-Large are responsible for providing assistance to various activities as needed. They will play a critical role in supporting all directors of the organization and may be a lead on special projects that arise. General Duties: Attend monthly board meetings. (currently via Zoom) Attend Forte shows and events and actively promote within your circle of influence After a period of orientation, there will be an opportunity to join a sub-committee: governance, marketing and communications, fundraising, stakeholder engagement. Provide assistance to other Directors of the Board as needed. Act as a lead on special projects as needed. Requirements: • An interest in the Calgary Arts community • Previous experience on a Board of Directors an asset, but not required.
