Volunteer - Social Media Coordinator

Volunteer Social Media Coordinator  			Position type: Part-time, Volunteer	

ChatterBox Theatre Society is looking for a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator will help ChatterBox Theater Society cerate original text, manage social media posts, and respond to followers. Working closely with the Grants and Funding volunteer, you will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals and increase our presence within the community. 

Key Responsibilities
•	Design and implement the social media strategy to align with ChatterBox goals and 
•	Create digital marketing for websites, emails, social media, and blogs
•	Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content on a monthly and quarterly basis 
•	Oversee social media accounts’ visual layout 
•	Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and 
•	Identify and monitor audiences’ preferences and recommend new campaign 

Skills and Experience
•	Legally able to volunteer/work in Canada
•	4th year University/College student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, 
        PR, or related field
•	Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•	Solid knowledge of online customer acquisition and analytics
•	Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•	Knowledge and expertise with multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, 
        Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter
•	Graphic Design experience or previous experience working as a Social Media Coordinator is considered an asset

Languages: English, French an asset but not required.
Compensation: It is a volunteer position. Volunteer Letter will be provided.
Commitment: As much time as you can contribute.
Experience: 1 year – however, University/College students and graduates are encouraged to apply.
