Club Treasurer

One Year Term
Responsibilities include:
•	Oversee the management of the financial affairs of the organization. 
•	Maintain systems and develop financial policies to ensure a prudent and appropriate approach to financial management.  
•	Responsible for preparing and facilitating the preparation of an annual budget, as well as regularly monitoring and comparing the actual revenues and expenses incurred against such budget. 
•	Prepare monthly financials and budget updates to share with the board and operational team.
•	Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the organization’s financial reports and important financial ratios and keep the board apprised of key financial events, trends, and concerns, and her assessments of the organization’s fiscal health. 
•	Ability to translate financial concepts and information for board members who do not have financial backgrounds or substantial financial experience.
•	Work with the fundraising committee to oversee the casino and the management of gaming funds.
•	Complete any regulatory filings as required.
Certification or Education Required
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
•	Work well in a team environment.  The Treasurer will work closely with both the Board and the operational leaders. In addition, the Treasurer will be the main contact for the Club’s bank and auditors, as required.
•	Have outstanding attention to detail.
•	Experience with non-profit boards.
•	Working knowledge of Quickbooks.
•	Appropriate financial credentials or experience.
