Social Impact Assessor

The Social Impact Assessor has an ease and proven results in (1) Sales, (2) Measuring impact in beneficiaries, contributing stakeholders and the Corporation, (3) Securing Donors and Sponsors, with long standing experience in Alberta or in Canada, and (4) Strong communication and relationships with Donors and Sponsors and organization team members.

Social Impact Assessor Responsibilities:
Due to COVID's changing restrictions, the 2021 Annual Benefit will be held online. With the Events Committee members, the Social Impact Assessor is responsible for helping with:
1- proposing a Social Impact plan, including Donation/Sponsorship;
2- assessing social impact externally and internally to the Corporation;
3- securing Donors and Sponsors for the sustainability of the mission; 
4- meeting the Donation and Sponsorship impact targets - to be confirmed with the Events Committee and Directors of the Board;
5- achieving social impact, and long-term relationships with all stakeholders to advance the cause! 

Potential Bonus: When a significant income is raised in the fiscal year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31), an honorarium may be offered. If interested in this additional opportunity, let us know! 

The change you will bring with your volunteering is sustainability of the cause, while also facilitating relief, hope and empowerment for families of a child who has varying abilities. Together, we connect families to community.

Time Commitment: Scheduling is flexible. 30- to 60-minute weekly Team Meetings are held by video-conferencing to help achieve Team targets. Email, phone, Signal communications in between meetings are also used as needed. The minimum time commitment is determined based on past performance in this role; typically ranging from 2 to 4 hours per week. A long term mandate is preferred.

Passion, enjoyment and high level of skills in Sales, Corporate Relations, Stewardship.
Excellence in teaming. 
Proven results in Sales, Sponsorship planning and implementation, and Corporate Relations.
Proficiency in internal and external communications.
Excellence in trouble shooting during planning and implementation.
Certification or Education Required
Sales Representation, Corporate Relations, Stewardship or equivalent/ relevant experience
