Fashion Show-Brunch Planner

We are proud to be holding the 2nd edition of our fashion show brunch on Saturday, June 1. The Events Planner will join the Events Team with our sponsor manager, project coordinator and other volunteers. Adults and children take part in the runways!

The Events Planner is a member of the Events Committee. The Events Planner must have background and experience in planning and implementing fashion shows. 

Responsibilities:
With the Events Committee team members, the Events Planner is responsible for:
1- planning and launching the event with the team to meet the target of $10,000 profit
2- coordinating the fashion show: models (12-15 adults & 5-7 children), vendors/clothes
3- securing the venue, food and beverages
4- securing silent auction items
5- securing decorations, swag. 

Having an ease and proven results in fashion shows, and strong communication with stakeholders, your superior and the team are required.

The change you will bring with your volunteering is raised awareness of and funds for the cause, in turn facilitating relief, hope, empowerment and connection in families living with a neurodiverse child.

Time Commitment: 3-4 hours per week. Weekly meetings are held mainly online (30-60 minutes). Email and phone communications in between meetings are also used as needed. Scheduling is flexible. A long term mandate is preferred.
Additional Details & Skills Required
Passion and enjoyment for fashion shows.
Excellence in team playing.
Proven results in fashion shows and events strategies.
Weekly meeting and reporting with the Events Committee.
Certification or Education Required
Fashion show or equivalent/ relevant experience
