Did you know that every year 1 million children are identified with a developmental disability? We are proud to be launching  the 2nd edition of our fashion show benefit.

The Benefit Planner is a member of the Events Committee who reports to the Board of Directors. Applicants must have background and experience in planning and implementing profitable fundraising events, having personally raised over $20,000. 

Responsibilities:
Due to COVID, our events are virtual. The Benefit Planner is responsible for:
1- planning and launching an online Benefit such as an evening event; 
2- securing sponsors;
3- achieving the target of $20,000. 
When $100,000 are raised in the fiscal year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31), an honorarium may be offered. If interested in this opportunity, let us know. 

Having an ease and proven results in fundraising $20,000 within six months, and strong communication with stakeholders, your superior and Board members are required.

The change you will bring with your volunteering is raised sustainability of the cause, while also facilitating relief, hope and empowerment to families living with a child at risk for or who has a disability.

Time Commitment: 30- to 60-minute meetings are held in person and/ or by telephone or video-conferencing on a bi-monthly basis, and as needed to help achieve the targets. Email and phone communications in between meetings are also used as needed. The minimum time commitment is about 10 hours per month. Scheduling is flexible. A long term mandate is preferred.
