ARK is seeking a Donor Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This is an opportunity for you to make a tangible impact on the lives of children with mobility issues and their families! Help us Reshape Their World! We are looking for a motivated and organized Donor Engagement Coordinator to steward prospective and current donors. Serving as part of the Fund Development Team, you will help to bolster awareness about ARK and properly acknowledge our donors. The ideal candidate seeks out opportunities and develops initiatives to identify, cultivate and steward current and prospective donors to ensure a strong base of ongoing financial support. Time Commitment: Approximately 2 - 4 hours per week. Responsibilities: • Actively identify and cultivate new and existing relationships with supporters and key prospects as well as focus on re-engaging former donors. • Help establish a detailed working plan to implement a donor engagement strategy, overseeing the planning process from start to finish. • Coordinate database tracking of donors. • Collaborate with the Fund Development Team to follow-up with donors to thank and inform them about ARK’s progress. • Make data-based recommendations to the Fund Development team regarding metrics and fundraising goals. Requirements: • English as a primary language. • Ability to maintain confidential information. • Previous direct experience is required. • Knowledge of database systems. • Resident of Calgary or surrounding areas. Qualities & Skills: • A passionate motivator who truly understands the meaning of relationship building in order to accomplish ARK’s objectives. • Strong proposal writing & word processing ability. • Strategic planning, project management and event management skills. • Strong communication and marketing skills • Working knowledge of current and evolving trends in online and offline fundraising. • Strong computer skills including CRM, Word, Excel and file management. • Public speaking skills for group facilitation, influencing, negotiating and presenting information.
