Accessibility Renovations for Kids (ARK) is a growing Calgary charity that reshapes the lives of children by providing accessibility home renovations. Our goal is to ease the daily lives of children with mobility challenges by renovating or modifying their family home to make it more accessible.

If you have skills that would fit with some of the areas below and would like to join our dynamic Events team, please reach out to us. 
 
- Events Coordination.
- Silent Auction Assistance.
- Support with Sourcing Vendors.

Time Commitment:  Approximately 1-3 hours per week.

Requirements: 

- Fluency in English language.
- Previous direct experience is required.
- Friendly demeanor.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Writing friendly and professional emails.
-  Resident of Calgary or surrounding areas.

Qualities & Skills:

- Creativity.
- Strong organizational skills, time management and internet research skills.
- An ability to work well under pressure, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Events and coordination experience is preferred. 
- Computer skills ( MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)
- Strong work ethic.
- Committed and takes volunteerism seriously.
- Last but not least you must be willing to have fun because volunteering with 
   us is awesome.
