STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) Who Should Apply? STEM Canada is inviting virtually - enthusiastic, engaging University students, Club facilitators, Instructors, or Teachers with expertise in STEM subject areas to collaborate to create fun and exiting STEM programming. Planned Start Date: Immediate Here is your time to make a difference! POSITION DESCRIPTION: - Work with our programming team to program STEM activities and lessons virtually. - Assist our students to understand the fundamentals of STEM Education. DUTIES: · Be creative, HIGH ENERGY and innovative in creating fun STEM camp activities for students related to Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Engineering, AI, Technology, Math, Coding, including online simulators and interactive demonstrations. · Must be EXPERIENCED and comfortable creating meaningful science related content as needed. · Be self-motivating and enthusiastic in carrying out the duties, fostering self-esteem, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Requirements: -MUST be high energy, love kids, be dependable and organized -Ability to be present tomorrow -Exhibit personal suitability and flexibility - Have exceptional interpersonal skills - Have excellent oral and written communication skills. -Previous programming experience would be an asset. -Post-secondary students and grad students welcome to apply.
