Volunteer STEM Programming Coordinator

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

expertise in STEM subject areas to collaborate to create fun and exiting STEM programming.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Work with our programming team to program STEM activities and lessons virtually.
- Assist our students to understand the fundamentals of STEM Education.

DUTIES:

· Be creative, HIGH ENERGY and innovative in creating fun STEM camp activities for students related to Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Engineering, AI, Technology, Math, Coding, including online simulators and interactive demonstrations.
· Must be EXPERIENCED and comfortable creating meaningful science related content as needed.
· Be self-motivating and enthusiastic in carrying out the duties, fostering self-esteem, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Requirements:

-MUST be high energy, love kids, be dependable and organized
-Ability to be present tomorrow
-Exhibit personal suitability and flexibility
- Have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Previous programming experience would be an asset.
-Post-secondary students and grad students welcome to apply.
