STEM Canada is a registered not for profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented volunteers to help with our Bowlathon Fundraising Event for International Women’s Month. As a member of the team, you will help with event set-up and logistics. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the event is well-organized, materials and supplies are appropriately arranged, and signage is displayed effectively. Your contribution will directly support our mission of creating a successful event to raise money to support women causes nationally and internationally.


- Set up the event according to provided guidelines, ensuring that furniture, equipment, and materials are arranged appropriately.
- Collaborate with the team to create and install signage, including event rosters, directional signs, and instructional displays.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in preparation areas, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to accomplish tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines provided by the supervisor or team lead.
- Greet and direct participants to their bowling lanes.
- Register participants at the registration table.
- Arrange food buffet as needed.
- Set up trophies and prizes.
